About Banner Hems
A hem is a folded and fixed edge around a banner. It makes the edge thicker and stronger, so the banner is less likely to fray or tear, especially at fixing points.
Hems are usually combined with eyelets or pole pockets. If your banner will hang outdoors or be pulled tight, tell us and we will recommend the finishing that suits it.
Popular uses in Dubai
- Outdoor banners exposed to wind
- Banners with eyelets for ropes or ties
- Frequently reused event banners
- Large shop-front and hoarding banners
- Banners stretched on frames
Options to ask about
- Hem on all four sides or selected sides
- Hem width (ask what is available)
- Eyelets or pole pockets in the hem
- Stitched or welded hem depending on the material
Options depend on the product and quantity. We confirm what is available when you enquire.
