About Back Lit Banners
A backlit banner is printed on a translucent material so that light from behind the print shines through it. The result is a bright, glowing image that stands out at night and in dim areas such as mall corridors and shop fronts.
The print has to fit your lightbox frame exactly. Tell us the inner size of the box, how the banner is fixed (for example with a frame, a track or a tension edge) and whether it is viewed from one side or both.
Popular uses in Dubai
- Shop-front lightboxes and fascia signs

- Restaurant and café menu boards

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between a backlit banner and a normal banner?
A backlit banner uses translucent material so light shines through it from behind. A normal banner is lit only from the front.
Do you supply the lightbox as well?
See Flex Face Signage / Light Box. Tell us if you need the box, the print or both.
Can I change the print later?
Many lightboxes allow the print to be replaced. Tell us how yours is fixed and we will advise.
How do I get a price for back lit banners?
Price depends on the size, quantity, material and finishing. Send those details and your artwork on WhatsApp and Colorfly Studio will reply with a quotation.
