ICAO standard, recent (within 6 months). Face straight to camera, neutral expression, eyes open and visible, no coloured contact lenses. Glasses allowed only if eyes are not hidden and there is no reflection. Headwear only for national dress or religious reasons. High resolution, no ink marks. Photo must differ from the one on the current card. Rejected automatically if it fails the system check.
